If you had to rank the popularity of the most historic and successful clubs in world football, Inter Milan would be up there. On the field, the Italian giants have picked up 33 titles, including 19 domestic and three Champions League trophies. However, along with its rich history of silverware, the former Serie A champions also have an impressive backlog of jerseys that consistently capture the hearts of both Inter and mutual football fans across the globe.

Last season, Inter Milan and Nike dropped one of the best home kits of the year with its snake-inspired design. Now this campaign, Inter has presented a classic home jersey — designed with traditional blue and black stripes to honor the club’s historical values — and a turquoise away strip that is inspired by the “unbreakable bond” between Inter and the city of Milan. However, like most professional clubs these days, a third kit needs to be worn, and Inter has just presented possibly, one of its strongest contenders for kit of the year so far.

The new third kit is a modernized approach to the current game, while still maintaining the traditional Nerazzurri colors, with black and blue tones setting the foundations for the kits bold yellow base. Keeping the shirt tied in with the feel of the city, the word “Milano” is featured inside the neckline. Nike football has also ensured that this new jersey stays in keeping with its “Move to Zero” initiative — Nike’s most current regime that champions the use of sustainable materials with low carbon emissions. With this in mind, 95% of the new Inter strip is crafted from recycled plastic bottles.

And with this new jersey being one that looks to be at one with the community, the kit is also being launched in partnership with One Block Down — one of Milan’s biggest streetwear stores.

You can have a closer look at Inter Milan’s new third kit above and it is available now on the official Inter webstore and Nike website now.
