During Paris Fashion Week SS23, Copenhagen-based designer Cecilie Bahnsen presented her latest collection, featuring seven new takes on various ASICS sneakers. The upcycled looks all featured unique flower decorations of different shapes and sizes. Now, after this first look at the collaboration, Bahnsen and ASICS are ready to launch 50 upcycled, one-of-a-kind pairs.

Featuring the ASICS GEL-1090, GEL-1130, GEL-NIMBUS 9, GEL-NIMBUS 23 and GEL-NIMBUS 24, the collection utilizes hand stitched floral beads and appliqués. Carefully crafted at Bahnsen’s Copenhagen studio, the pairs focus on ASICS’ brand ethos of “Sound Mind, Sound Body.” Blending activewear with couture, each pair is designed to have fun with ease.

The 50 one-of-a-kind pairs from the Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS upcycled collection are set to launch October 20 at approximately 9:25pm EDT exclusively via Cecilie Bahnsen’s website. Sizes range between EU 35.5 to EU 41.5 with prices going from €350 EUR to €490 EUR (approx. $342 USD to $479 USD). Take a look at a few of the pairs above and keep an eye out for more to come from the duo in 2023.
