Acne Studios has joined forces with heritage brand KERO for a collaborative footwear capsule. By uniting the styles of two Swedish brands, the collaboration makes for a fun and culturally expansive offering.

The collaboration made its soft debut with Acne Studios men’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection and now everyone is getting a detailed look at the complete picture. Comprising the collection is a selection of boots and mules that feature KERO’s signature Sami “beak” design. Made from calf hide with a natural tanning process, the collab features knee-high boots and mules in shades of cognac brown, black and white with eye and stone embellishments.

“When I was growing up, my mum thought KERO shoes were really cool, so she made me wear them. I hated them at the time and was one of the only kids wearing them at school,” said Acne Studios’ founder/creative director Jonny Johansson. “Now that I’m older, I wanted to see if I could bring them into the Acne Studios world and play with this idea of heritage and roots.”

A collaboration highlight is the cognac brown knee-high boots that feature foldable shearling cuffs and a leather lace-up closure. Finishing off the boots and mules are dark brown platform rubber soles.

Take a look at the Acne Studios x KERO collaboration in the gallery above, which is available now in stores and online.
