Nike Unveils Its NBA All-Star 2022 Uniforms
Celebrating the NBA’s 75th Anniversary and the city of Cleveland.

During the weekend of February 18-20, 2022, the NBA‘s cream of the crop will flock to Cleveland, Ohio to participate in all of the NBA All-Star Weekend festivities. Hot off the heels of the Association unveiling the star-studded game’s starting lineups, the Nike family has chimed in on the action by pulling back the curtains on the players’ fresh new threads which celebrate the league’s 75th anniversary and the city of Cleveland. The Swoosh, Jordan Brand and Converse have all banded together to engineer uniforms for the NBA All-Star Game as well as the Clorox Rising Stars and Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity showdowns.
For the fifth year in a row, Jordan Brand is fitting the hoopers in the All-Star battle with jerseys that are emblematic of Cleveland’s culture. The city’s architecture serves as the inspiration for its typography while at the same time honors retro All-Star suits from the late ’80s and early ’90s. Silver is present in the background and is accented against either red or blue accents to speak to the NBA’s diamond year. Blue is also symbolic of Lake Erie while red represents Cleveland’s resilience.
Nike has lent its creative touch to the four styles of Clorox Rising Stars uniforms by employing vivid color schemes that are influenced by the refraction of a diamond. Converse was tasked to cook up offerings for the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game and it partnered with young designers from Boston and LA-based social and community impact organizations to allow young creatives to assist in the design process. Styles for the East honor the local street art and the perseverance of the cities while the West variations possess elements of ’90s pop culture.
The Jordan Brand uniforms for NBA All-Star 2022 are available now via Nike, NBA and select retailers.
