After teasing a selection of quilted outerwear amidst the launch of its sportswear line towards the end of last year, Manchester-based stalwart Oi Polloi is readying the release of a five-piece quilted bomber capsule alongside countryside conquistadors Lavenham.

Drawing on varied influences from his early years growing up in Manchester — including late night parties, Italian lux sportswear, DIY aesthetics and outdoor pursuits of the 20th century leisure class — Oi Polloi co-founder Steve Sanderson went about designing a five-piece capsule of quilted goodness in partnership with the British label.

Doused in a color palette inspired by the OG Range Rover Mark 1 — “Tuscan Blue”, “Lincoln Green” and “Sahara Dust” — a trio of bomber jackets which come equipped with ribbed collar and cuffs, slash pockets and a drop hem, are accompanied by a duo of gilets, which arrive crafted with equal precision. Branding is kept subtle with a small tab at the hem and traditional markings on the inside of the collar, while dual-zip fastening completes the perfect transitional garment.

The full Oi Polloi x Lavenham collaboration is set to drop on February 1 via Oi Polloi’s webstore, with the jackets retailing at £275 (approximately $370 USD) and the gilets £195 ($260 USD).

In other fashion news, Carhartt WIP x Stray Rats have Uupdates a selection of workwear classics for SS22.
