Remaining relatively open to the media, Kanye West recently sat down with Jason Lee for Hollywood Unlocked. In the new interview, Ye speaks candidly about a variety of headline news related to him. The 45-minute long conversation sees the normally enigmatic artist offer more insight into everything going on in his life.

Touching on his public feuds, Ye denied that the Free Larry Hoover benefit concert with Drake was designed to be a Verzuz-like set up. Noting that the Canadian artist wrote his setlist and that they almost wore matching Off-White™ x Air Jordans designed by Virgil Abloh. Moving on to share that he still has “love” for both Big Sean and John Legend despite recent comments made. Ye then touched on his recent physical altercation, clearing things up, saying that the person he was involved with was paparazzi and not a fan.

Kanye then discussed his split with wife Kim Kardashian, talking about his feelings towards her and sharing custody of their children. Before discussing how he hasn’t given up on his political career, “I am a future president.” Adding an anecdote about how Bernie Sanders “refused” to meet with him and exactly why he chose to wear a MAGA hat.
