Rumors of a Supreme x Burberry SS22 Collaboration Surface
Could the New York imprint be looking towards luxury again?
According to reports, Supreme and Burberry could be preparing a collaboration for the Spring/Summer 2022 season. Back in 2017, the New York imprint blurred the lines of streetwear and luxury fashion with its highly-anticipated team-up with Louis Vuitton. Expressed as a full collection, the special range blended the bold elements of Supreme with the heritage of the French high-end luxury fashion house.
Reports note the potential Supreme x Burberry SS22 collaboration is expected to feature a series of outerwear, tops, bottoms and accessories. Designs are also believed to heavily feature Supreme’s signature Box Logo and Burberry’s storied Nova Check pattern and Horse & Knight branding.
It is interesting to note, back in 1997, Supreme paid homage to Burberry with a Box Logo T-shirt release inspired by the British fashion house’s check pattern.
