Gnarhunters' Nike SB Dunk Low Collaboration Has Removable Swooshes
The are also designed with bungee laces and toweled sock liners.

Nike SB tends be praised for its compelling footwear collaborations, especially its projects that involve its highly-coveted SB Dunk. And footwear fans are in for a treat this year as the Swoosh division is plotting a wide range of fresh iterations of the silhouette to deliver, one being Elissa Steamer‘s Gnarhunters x Nike SB Dunk Low colorway that has just appeared on our radar. The two parties were last spotted working together back in 2019 when they released a collaborative Blazer Mid.
From a bird’s eye view, these just might seem like any simple black and white offering, but up close you can view much of their intricate details. Upper halves of the kicks ditch the traditional smooth leathers that the model usually uses and swaps them out for stealthy felt-like textures for the toe boxes, collars and quarters while the overlays are presented with a black nylon fabric. The Swooshes can be detached as they are backed with velcro and the interiors of the shoes are lined with towel-like material. Throats also comes treated with a black exterior and comes locked down by a set of bungee laces. A Gnarhunters banner is positioned on the tongues while the word “Gnar” replaces the usual Nike branding on the heels. Both insoles are adorned with graphic imagery, the right side of which has a snorkel like photo while the left shoe sports a sunscreen-inspired image.
Peep a detailed view at the shoes above and note that these are expected to release in the coming months.
Elsewhere in the world of sneakers, Nike has unveiled an Air Force 1 “Roman Empire” colorway.
