Specialty retailer J. Crew has released a limited-edition drop of its Diemme x J. Crew “Roccia Hiking Boots,” highlighting a collaboration that has an eco-friendly purpose.

Entirely handmade and built for the terrain, the boots are padded with inner-linings that provide ankle support for the outdoors and come in five different color-blocked colorways: white and green, tan and yellow, salmon and pink, and grey and green. A standout is the wheat and taupe pair incorporating a brown tongue and collar, green laces, chocolate midsole and yellow outsole.

Brothers Dennis and Maico Signor designed the boots utilizing their 25 years of production and research experience by expertly crafting each pair at their Calzaturificio factory in northeastern Italy, with elements of the design being inspired by the 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail and its biodiversity. “The hiking-only trail touches 14 states through education, management and stewardship, ensuring that it is accessible to all,” the brand noted in a joint press release.

The boots retail at $449 USD, and can be purchased via J. Crew’s website. 15% of the proceeds are being donated to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
