Carhartt WIP Reveals Washed Out SS22 Collection
Featuring new pigment dyeing and deconstruction techniques.

Carhatt WIP has given a range of work-inspired staples a seasonal upgrade for Spring/Summer 2022. The collection introduces a new color palette and construction methods, transforming the label’s classic items as well as introducing new themes and ideas.
Key items in the collection have been given a pigment dye treatment to create a washed out yet saturated aesthetic, which can be seen on Double Knee Pants and the Michigan Coat. Elsewhere, other classic silhouettes have been deconstructed and spliced together. This sees canvas, ripstop, corduroy, and twill all on the same item, while other pieces feature detailing and features lifted from a similar item.
As well as reworking work-inspired staples, Carhartt WIP has looked further afield for SS22 influences. Taking inspiration from military and outdoor garments, the collection nods to 1980s hiking apparel as well as ntroducing the new “Tide” camouflage print. Rounding out the collection is a series of graphic prints across T-shirts, shirts and sweats.
