Japanese label AURALEE has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2022 collection, refining its understated aesthetic. Describing the collection’s influence as “heartwarming sun peeking through silver clouds and snowy skies,” the collection mixes textures, colors and a focus on materiality.

The starting point for the collection is the fabrics, including a new tweed developed in house, as well as blends such as a wool silk alpaca herringbone, a wool cashmere organic cotton and a textured baby camel melton. Contrast arrives in the collection through the use of ripstop nylon, as well as a color palette that offsets neutrals and pale tones with hits of cobalt blue and bright green.

AURALEE also introduces new footwear styles, including a stripped back Western boot and technical slip-ons constructed from a soft suede material. Rounding out the footwear, AURALEE has reunited with New Balance to rework the XC-72 in a series of colorways that reflects the collection’s color palette.
