Another Look at the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 CMPCT "Slate Red"
Kanye’s second all-red Yeezy with adidas is expected to come in February.
After further extending his music catalog by appearing on The Game’s latest single “Eazy,” Kanye West is swiveling our attention back to his ever-growing lineup of adidas YEEZYs by previewing some of its forthcoming installments. In the coming weeks, the creative genius has intentions of bringing the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 CMPCT “Slate Red” to the forefront. Of all of the YEEZYS that Ye has dropped since signing on with the German sportswear brand in 2015, this is only but the second to channel his signature “Red October” aesthetic.
The visual composition of these Ye-designed shoes is extremely loud. Its “Slate Red” hue does most of the talking on the base layer here as it cascades over the extended sock-like collars, as well as the outermost layer of PrimeKnit that is woven onto the side walls and the heels. Undertones of the upper provide tiny bits of contrasting as they are dyed in browm, and these are visible in atop the toe boxes and mid-foot. Downstairs, the ribbed midsoles come packed with BOOST cushioning to provide a comfy ride, and the exteriors come styled with two different shades of red.
Early reports have these scheduled for a Valentine’s Day release, but adidas has yet to confirm this. Retail is set at $220 USD. GOAT has pairs available now if you’d like to cop now
