Adidas Unveils New Team GB and ParalympicsGB Kit for Beijing’s 2022 Olympic Games

Ahead of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, adidas has unveiled the new Team GB and ParalympicsGB uniform kit, designed to support British athletes.

Fusing a contemporary representation of Britain’s Union flag, the team kit includes a “Podium” hooded and mid-layer jacket with Parley Ocean Plastic and PrimaLoft insulation, while the Olympic Village shoe consists of the adidas ULTRABOOST 22, providing athletes with energy return in every step.

The items’ dominant colorway of navy blue offsets the sky blue, white and vibrant red flecks that appear throughout the sleeves and uniform legs, and the high-performance insulation allows for garment breathability, durability and thermal efficiency.

In a press statement, adidas VP Brand of North Europe, Chris Walsh said, “We’re proud to champion Team GB and ParalympicGB athletes as they compete at the highest level,” with British Olympic Association CEO, Andy Anson stating, “adidas continues to be a fantastic partner of Team GB and once again have come up with an iconic look which our athletes can wear with pride as they represent their country.”

We know our athletes, who have shown such resilience to continue their preparations, feel a huge amount of pride when they wear their kit, and we can’t wait to see them sporting it in Beijing as they strive to inspire the nation once again,” adds Mike Sharrock, British Paralympic Association CEO.

The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games will take place from February 4-20, and the adidas Team GB fanwear apparel is now available on the adidas Team GB website.
