WIND AND SEA Enlists Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Upcoming Apparel Drop
“It’s Pizza Time!”

WIND AND SEA, spearheaded by creative director Takashi Kumagai, is dropping a new apparel line featuring the age-defying, pizza-loving Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The American comic book, created by artists Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird in 1984, first aired on Nickelodeon in 1990 and follows its nunchuck and sword-wielding reptilian adolescents through crime-fighting adventures in New York City.
WIND AND SEA feature the skilled ninjas in a curated apparel and accessories lineup, featuring hoodies, crew neck pullovers, long sleeves, T-shirts, and a pair of sweat pants. Accompanying the apparel line, WIND AND SEA adapts the slogan “It’s Pizza Time!” on a collection of dining accessories like branded pizza napkins and plates, in addition to a custom keychain and skateboard deck.
In celebration of the collection, a pop-up will be held at PIZZANISTA! Tokyo in Harajuku, Tokyo, on Saturday, Jan. 29 through Sunday, Jan. 30. The pizza chain was founded by professional skateboarder Salman Agah in 2010 and has since opened two locations in Los Angeles and a flagship location in Seoul, South Korea.
The collection goes live on January 29 on WIND AND SEA’s official website and in-store at its flagship Nakameguro and Osaka locations.
