Swiss watchmaker Oris has announced the release of its “Big Crown Pointer Date” in bronze.
The timepiece is being updated for the first time since the company’s 1938 inception, with solid bronze casing, bezel, crown and an articulated bracelet and clasp. Four colorways for the watch dial – including a new blue variant, brown, green and bordeaux – are also being added.
The case incorporates an interlocking, multi-piece bronze structure with sapphire top glass domed on both sides, anti-reflective coating and a stainless steel back. The hours, minute and second hands are intricately designed with bronze, while a bronze screw-in security crown and water resistant feature round out the updated details.
Additionally, the multi-piece bronze metal bracelet can be interchanged with a brown leather strap to complement the new dial colorways.
The newly introduced “Big Crown Pointer Date” bronze Oris watch retails for $2,600 USD, and is available now on Oris’ website.
