JJJJound Shares Another Preview of Its BAPE Collaboration
Featuring clean BAPE STAs and a hoodie that reads “A Tasteful Ape.”

BAPE has been going hard on the collaborations front lately as it recently dropped a two-piece footwear capsule with Reebok and a camouflage-covered trucker hat project with Stüssy. For Spring/Summer 2022, the Japanese streetwear label is beefing up its catalog even more with a highly-anticipated link-up with JJJJound. The Montreal-based imprint already provided a first look at the BAPE STAs back in December 2021, and now it’s teased an early look at the hooded pullover.
In similar fashion to the kicks, the sweater is done up with brighter neutral tones of gray with white font. Instead of the traditional ape head logo and “A BATHING APE” branding, JJJJound has remixed this verbiage with a “A TASTEFUL APE” spell out — likely a reference to the design entity’s affinity for minimalistic design. Inside the hoodie, the size tag also comes brandished with signature logos from each party.
Official release info hasn’t been announced from either brand just yet, but you can likely expect the capsule to roll out sometime during SS22.
