Stone Island Takes a Monochromatic Approach To Camouflage for FW21
Featuring three-layer outerwear, pants and more.

For the Fall/Winter 2021 season, Stone Island introduced a fresh take on camouflage apparel. Titled “Ghost Pieces,” the new collection features a completely monochromatic color palette, offering a literal approach to blending in.
The collection’s color palette includes dark brown, deep navy, military green and gray, which have been extended to each garment’s Stone Island arm-badge. This season’s lighter pieces are made of nylon moleskin with a cotton lining, while heavier outerwear pieces come in a three-layer stretch wool construction, water and windproof two-way stretch membrane and a nylon mesh. Rounding out the collection are knitwear, fleecewear and wool or nylon pants.
Earlier this month, Stone Island revealed its new trench coat for its fifth Prototype Research_Series. Made out of Raso cotton, the material has been fused to a non-woven fabric with a copper layer. Stone Island plans to explore copper’s natural oxidation characteristics to reveal how the jacket will change over time.
Stone Island’s Ghost Series collection is available now on its website.
