Official Look at the Nike Dunk Low "Goldenrod"
The Iowa Hawkeyes-inspired palette returns on the classic hoops model.
At this rate, it feels that for every Dunk Low colorway that Nike produces, the brand is also capitalizing on its energy by creating it in a high-top version. We’ve seen this with many of the “Be True to your School” colorways that have already been reincarnated such as the “Kentucky”, “Syracuse” and more, and now the Nike Dunk Low “Goldenrod” is going to get its moment to shine.
Designed to translate the color schemes of the “Iowa Hawkeyes” Dunks from the Swoosh’s 1985 “Be True to Your School” Pack and the 1999 “Wu-Tang” colorway, these lifestyle-centric kicks are embellished with a “Goldenrod” hue that covers areas on the upper such as the Swooshes, overlays, interior liners, laces and the heel overlays. Slotted into the remaining spaces of the leather base such as the toe boxes, quarters, collars, tongues and the heel’s Nike branding is a solid black tone. Pure white midsoles and bold yellow treading down below conclude its retro-inspired look.
As of now, we’re still left in the dark in terms of when these will be dropping, but Nike will probably launch these in the coming months for the usual $100 retail tag.
