Mita Reveals Its Euphoric adidas EQT CSG 91 Collaboration
The Japanese retailer flips the classic silhouette with colorful uppers and cork insoles.

Since adidas was founded in the year 1949, the brand has introduced a superfluity of classic models and iconic footwear lineages, one of the latter being the adidas EQT line. And in 2021, this piece of history is celebrating its 30th anniversary, so the German sportswear entity is linking up with various retailers across the globe for collaborative takes of its silhouettes. After Extra Butter introduced its dog-inspired Equipment CSG 91 “Best Friend” collaboration, Mita is now inserting itself in the conversation and pulling back the sheets on its own Equipment CSG 91 makeup.
Inspiration for this collaborative take comes from the euphoric “Runners High” that’s often ignited within us when we get our fix of exercise. This is translated through a mosaic of purple, orange, green, red, and yellow mashed together to form a paint-like pattern across the overlays that rest on the mid-foot, forefoot and heels. Hits of brighter blue and purples also get brought to the table here, the former of which dresses the lateral stripes while the former takes care of the medial. Other significant design details to point out include the heels which split between an adidas logo on the left side and a Mita insignia on the right, as well as the cork-infused insoles.
Peep a closer look here above and note that you can expect Mita to release these come October 2nd.
