Nike has gotten extra experimental with its Waffle One silhouette all-summer long as its been seen with earth-friendly Crater soles and whipped up in a retro color palette inspired by the Swoosh’s ACG line. And now, the lifestyle model has appeared in a playful “Hyper Pink/University Red” makeover that makes use of vivid color-blocking for its base layer and neutral tones for its bottom half.

See-through mesh is the most prominent material on this iteration’s upper, and it’s coated in “Hyper Pink.” Just beside this comes suede overlays that are planted onto the throat, forefoot and heels, all of which are submerged in a “University Red” hue along with “Hyper Crimson” bursts that are found on the Swooshes, exposed stitchings on the lower throat and the interior lining. Small notes of purple and yellow also get brought in, the former being slapped onto the Swooshes atop the forefoot and heels while the latter makes its presence felt on the laces. Midsole components split between beige panels and a triple-stacked “Racer Blue” heel counter while the treading is predominantly supplied with a caramel-like hue.

These Waffle Ones are available right now via Nike for $100 USD.

In case you missed it, Nike has honored Cristiano Ronaldo’s goalscoring record with a celebratory pitch.
