New Balance’s XC-72 Sneaker Gets a “Storm Blue” Makeover
Continuing the silhouette’s rollout.

With a multi-color debut and gray iterations as well as a highly sought-after collaboration with Casablanca under its belt, New Balance has launched the latest addition to its XC-72 sneaker.
Serving as a successor to other models, this silhouette merges design cues from the likes of XC15, 375 and 620 — creating a retro-futuristic sneaker inspired by concept cars of the ‘70s.
Boasting a premium suede and mesh upper, this drop offers a “Storm Blue”, “Sea Salt” and yellow colorway inspired by oceanic hues. A split rear design separates the heel from its heel clip and rubberized accents whilst a half gum – half black outsole possessing a streak of yellow running from its toe box across the center of the sneaker matches its bold tongue. Rounding off the design is the brand’s iconic “N” logo dressed in white elevating from its light blue mesh lateral panels.
The latest New Balance XC-72 blue/yellow will be available in the Middle East from September 18. For its drop, the brand enlists one of the pioneers of nightlife in the Middle East, Emirati-based DJ Bliss. Check out the images of the campaign in the gallery above.
