Re-creating the ultra-iconic T2 camper van from the German automaker, the new LEGO kit consists of 2,207 pieces and measures over 13.5 inches long, six inches tall and 5.5 inches wide. Every detail of the cult classic vehicle has been replicated on the collectible, including its sliding door, expandable roof, panoramic front windshield and engine under its opening hood and a working steering wheel that actually turns the wheels.
The attention to detail extends into the interior, with LEGO equipping the camper van with realistic textile curtains, a camping kitchen with a gas stove, a sink, a fridge, a swing-out table and a folding rock-and-roll-styled bed. Completing the set are then a blue and white scaled surfboard as well as two deck chairs that can be folded up and be stored under the vehicle’s roof.
For those interested, LEGO’s new Volkswagen T2 camper van kit is now available over on HBX for $210 USD.
Elsewhere in collectibles, Bandai has released a 23-inch replica of Senjuro Rengoku’s flaming sword from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
