Two days before his next album The Melodic Blue hits the globe, Baby Keem made his television performance debut and hopped on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to debut a brand new track titled “Issues.”

The new song is expressive of a solemn mood. “How could I resent you? Demons in tissue. Grandma and I missed you. You don’t know what we’ve been through. Don’t let the wolves come get you. Please don’t let them come get you”, Keem croons on the chorus, essentially communicating his feelings of going through struggles of losing loved ones and his upbringing. And aside from the song itself, the Carson-born artist — as he usually does — delivers on the visuals. Throughout the entire over-four-minute-clip, Keem is posted up on a stationary BMX bike while a thin layer of fog surrounds him and the video screen in the background shows off a mountainous desert landscape during hours of sundown.

Momentum is strong right now for the on-the-rise rapper as he was recently featured on Kanye West‘s DONDA album on “Praise God” with Travis Scott, and his video for “family ties” featuring Kendrick Lamer broke the Internet when it dropped. Aside from the album release, he’s also coming off of festival performances at Lyrical Lemonade and Made In America, and is on the lineup for the upcoming Day N Vegas festival.

In other music-related news, Rick Ross, Jeezy, 2 Chainz and Gucci Mane have announced the “Legendz of the Streetz” Tour.
