Vans' Slip-On Receives a Color-Blocking Checkerboard Print
A colorful take on the classic Slip-On.
Following the collaboration with Andrew Allen, Vans has released an all-rubber iteration of its Slip-On 98 DX, borrowing cues from the classic Slip-On.
Dubbed “Checkerboard,” the classic checkerboard pattern graces the shoe’s entire uppers with a black and white print. To add a playful touch on the black and white arrangement, the new trapezoidal checkboard pattern is split at the midfoot and the forefoot with primary colors, where the symmetrical color placement of red and blue is accented with yellow on the heel. Nodding to the signatory Slip-On, the look is completed by white midsoles with a gum waffle rubber outsole.
Priced at $95 USD, you can purchase Vans’ Anaheim Factory Classic Slip-on 98 DX over at the company’s website.
