This season it’s no different, as the brand introducing arguably its most innovative shoe to-date in its all-new Cloudaway silhouette.
Fusing traditional footwear design notes and high-performance engineering, the Cloudaway is a signal of a new spirit of travelling. Through a combination of classic moccasin-style stitching, a mesh upper and a vegan suede mudguard, On has created a shoe that’s as high-tech as it is street-ready.
Sat atop a tailored Speedboard for smooth motion and its signature CloudTec sole for ultimate comfort, the Cloudaway is not only innovative and comfy, its lightweight mesh upper is crafted from 85% recycled content, too.
Arriving in an array of colorways — “Bronze/White”, “Ink/White”, “Black/Rock” “Almond/Glacier” and “Ice/Chilli” — the Cloudaway is completed with a re-engineered slip-on design and single-toggle elastic laces.
As if the release of the Cloudaway wasn’t enough, On has also announced its plans to launch a unique pop-up Cloudaway Travel Agency in the heart of Berlin, Germany. Set to be staffed by knowledgeable locals who will be putting their expertise at their visitors’ disposal, the Cloudaway Travel Agency will offer intriguing insights into the city and its surroundings. The programme itself has been designed to put a particular emphasis on local experiences, and inspire Berliners to rediscover their city and look beyond their comfort zones.
The Cloudaway silhouette is set to drop in the near future via the On webstore, and will retail at €145.95 (approximately $170 USD). The Cloudaway Travel Agency will be open from August 25 to 29 and is located at Kalender Reisen, Sanderstrasse 1, in the city’s Neuköllndistrict.
