NEIGHBORHOOD Officially Reveals Its Newest adidas Originals Superstar 80s Collaboration
The two-piece pack entails black and olive colorways that feature removable lace shrouds.

After teaming up with Vault by Vans for a COMFYCUSH Sk8-Hi and Old Era collaboration, NEIGHBORHOOD is keeping its momentum on the footwear side trucking along and linking up with adidas for another two-pronged pack. Together, they’ve put their heads together on the classic adidas Superstar 80s and cooked up muted black/white and olive/white takes.
The details on these street-ready kicks are in the materials and constructions. Uppers of both pairs are each treated with a premium suede fabric, and the tongues are ornamented with removable shrouds that can zip on and off, the latter of which mostly matches up with the base layers of each colorway and comes designed with exposed zig-zag stitchings. Branding pops out in white on both iterations and arrives by way of NEIGHBORHOOD written out adjacent to the tonal stripes, the Trefoil logo on the heels and co-branded posters stamped to the tongues. The black pair bears contrasting elements as the shell toes and midsoles are coated with an ivory hue while the olive pair opts for the tonal aesthetic.
You can find this NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Superstar 80s collection dropping on August 28, and note that each colorway will retail for ¥18,700 (approx. $170 USD).
Elsewhere in the realm of sneakers, Damian Lillard and Shaquille O’Neal have unveiled a collaborative adidas x Reebok Shaqnosis.
