Netmarble and Marvel have finally released Marvel Future Revolution, the latter’s first-ever open-world MMORPG featuring its beloved superheroes.

Available on both Android and iOS platforms, the new mobile game brings players into the Marvel multiverse where a whole host of different dimensions have merged and collapsed into one another. Teaming up with various alternate versions of themselves, a select group of heroes will have to fight off enemies while attempting to fix their worlds. At launch, players will be able to play as Captain America, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Widow, Star-Lord, Iron Man, Storm and Captain Marvel, but new characters may join the roster in subsequent updates. You’ll also be able to explore a range of new locations within the Marvel universe, including Midgardia, New Stark City, Sakaar or the Hydra Empire.

The game itself is completely free to play, but as you’d expect there’ll be microtransactions that can give you a slight boost as you journey through the multiverse or simply give you new skins and suits to customize your character with. Once you’re ready and geared up, you’ll be pit against a horde of Marvel villains, with Thanos, Loki, Red Skull and Ultron all making appearances in the splitting and tearing world. As an MMORPG, you’ll be able to play with plenty of others online as well as your own friends, but the game can be played solo as well if that fits your gaming style more.

For fans of the Marvel universe, Marvel Future Revolution is now available on both Android and iOS platforms, and you can learn more over on the game’s website.

Elsewhere in gaming, Halo esports is coming back thanks to the upcoming release of Halo Infinite.
