New York-based lifestyle label Grungy Gentleman has joined forces with the NBA on a selection of T-shirts and shorts celebrating some of the leagues most powerful teams.

The range, which features pieces honoring the Los Angeles Lakers, the Los Angeles Clippers, the New York Knicks, the Brooklyn Nets, the Boston Celtics, the Miami Heat, and the Philadelphia 76ers, reflects Grungy Gentleman designer Jace Lipstein’s high-end take on league apparel.

“My vision for our NBA guy is rocking a luxury matching set paired with a vintage watch [and] clean trainers,” Lipstein said in a release. “Shorts come down to fit, fabric, and comfort. I obsessed over these three characteristics to create a pair of NBA shorts that customers will wear forever.”

Each design plays into the Grungy Gentleman consumer identity, which the brand identifies as “a collector, a gentleman, a rebel spirit and a man who stands apart,” with embroidered stripes reflecting each team’s colors and printed logos.

The Grungy Gentleman x NBA collection is now available to shop on the label’s website. Shirts are listed for $60 USD and shorts are priced at $85 USD.

In another sports-meets-style drop, Telfar has released its Liberia Collection, a performance-oriented range that made its debut during the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
