Drake's OVO Drops Co-Branded Collection With University of Toronto
Celebrating Canadian excellence.
Drake is continuing to show love for his hometown of Toronto, this time with his October’s Very Own brand celebrating Canadian excellence as school comes around the corner this Fall.
OVO has partnered with the University of Toronto to drop a collaborative collection that sees OVO put its own spin on classic university apparel including, rugby polo, varsity jacket, hooded sweatshirts, varsity caps, fleece sweatpants and tote bags. Of course, the collection sees the signature OVO owl and the UofT’s maple leaf on the apparel items, signifying the co-branding of the two institutions. To tie it all together, all pieces are expected to be designed and manufactured in Canada.
Four-time Olympic medalist and UofT alumna Kylie Masse stars in the campaign video for the collection. In the video, the soundtrack, scored by Canadian composer Chilly Gonzales, becomes the background music for the nostalgic shots around the university’s campus. Masse takes to Instagram to share the video writing, “So stoked to share this! What an absolute honour, I’m buzzin to be a small part in this. I had such a blast filming with this incredible team, thank you sooo much @welcomeovo for allowing me to be a part of this collab! It is SO cool to represent both @welcomeovo & @uoft forever a varsity blue.”
The exclusive OVO x UofT capsule collection will be available starting August 20 online at OVO and at the University of Toronto’s bookstore. Take a scroll through the lookbook above.
