Heritage Hiking Brand Demon Updates Poyana Boot With Reflective Leather Uppers
Shine bright as you climb the Italian mountains.

In November 2020, the Milan-based imprint Slam Jam brought back the heritage Italian hiking label Demon, introducing three daringly avant-garde sneaker-boot hybrid styles for the contemporary world. Now, Demon is back with two new takes on its Poyana boot, introducing it in reflective silver and white.
Kicking things off with the reflective pair, we find the signature Poyana boot’s low-top aesthetic wrapped in reflective leather that’s been hot-pressed with the brand’s logo and features a crinkled pattern all over. This is paired with the rounded toe that’s equipped with “eFoam Protection Binding,” which secures the front of the shoe and makes for a very sturdy footing on loose terrain.
Elsewhere, there’s waterproofing, reflex sock webbing, a nylon gaiter for the sock liner, removable space-shell footbeds, speed lacing woven between metal eyelets, and of course, a lightweight Vibram sole unit. The sole is even more of a star than the reflective uppers, as it comes in a low-profile design at the front before kicking up and dropping back down into an angular, stiff heel.
Much of the same can be said for the white pair, which is made from vegetable-tanned leather and features all of the same components, only the sole unit now has a white section on it as well.
Regardless of the colorway you choose, Demon’s Poyana boot retails for $446 USD and can be bought from Slam Jam now.
