A Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Noise Aqua" Collaboration Is Coming
Sporting a wavy mudguard, mini Swooshes, and Patta branding.

Patta and Nike have a long-standing and incredibly fruitful relationship, having produced modern classics such as the Air Max 1 “Cherrywood,” “Purple Denim,” and “Lucky Green” — or in short, some of the most sought-after and priciest AM1s in existence. Now, its next collaborative pair — dubbed the “Noise Aqua” — is doing the rounds online.
As shown by Instagrammer @ryivibes, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Noise Aqua” is an AM1 by all means, but not quite as you know it. The usual smoothly shaped mudguard that runs around the lower perimeter of the shoe is now wavy and curvaceous (with some noting similarities to the Air Max 2 ‘94). An embroidered mini Swoosh decorates the bumper on the lateral side, while the rest of the AM1 looks pretty familiar.
Mesh has been used for the shoe’s base, making up the toe box, mid-panel, and padded heel, while white leather has been overlayed in its usual spots for structural integrity. Elsewhere, a padded nylon-foam tongue appears with Patta-branded tongue tags, and more touches of that “Noise Aqua” blue hits up the Swoosh emblem and eyelets.
Rounding out the pair is a white midsole that’s fitted to a split outsole, delivering gum on the toe, cream on the mid, blue on the 3/4 section, and what looks like to be more gum at the heel.
As of writing, no official word has been said from either Patta or Nike regarding a release. We do know an orange pair is also set to release.
