After linking up with Travis Scott, J Balvin and K-pop group BTS, McDonald’s is proceeding with its collaborative meal series and linking up with the Bay Area’s very own Saweetie. The “Icy Girl” rapper doesn’t mess around when it comes to food and she’s displayed this love for delicious meals through various YouTube videos of her chomping down on seafood pasta, Jollibee fried chicken and cajun shrimp — so this partnership certainly fits her personality.
“McDonald’s and I run deep – from growing up back in Hayward, California, all through my college days – so I had to bring my icy gang in on my all-time favorites,” Saweetie said when speaking on the collaboration. “Depending on the mood I’m in, there are so many ways to enjoy my order.”
The “Saweetie Meal” will include a Big Mac, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, medium Sprite and Tangy BBQ Sauce which has been renamed the “Saweetie ‘N Sour” sauce for this partnership. The popular fast food restaurant is encouraging consumers to adopt Saweetie‘s practices of remixing her meals by topping the Big Mac or nuggets with fries.
You can find participating McDonald’s restaurants launching the meal on August 9.
