Manchester United Experiments With Optical Art For 2021/22 Away Kit
Taking design cues from some of the club’s most iconic strips.

Manchester United and adidas Football have presented the club’s away jersey for the upcoming 2021/22 season, drawing on its collective memory and DNA through a new and modern expression.
“Cloud White” and “Glory Blue” come together to form an optical art pattern that’s been engineered into the fabric, taking inspiration from the club’s snowflake design from the 1992 season, while contrasting pops of “Solar Red” appear in the club crest, as well as adidas’ three stripes and sponsor logos.
Accompanied by “Glory Blue” shorts which are a nod to the European Cup-winning side of 1968, the kit is completed with socks that match what’s up top housing a blue and white optical pattern.
Set to be debuted on-pitch on July 31, the kit is available to buy from today and is available from both adidas and Manchester United webstores.
