Dover Street Market and Nike's Velour-Covered Dunk Low Appears in Black
Beauty in simplicity.

Dover Street Market and Nike have a tried-and-true formula for footwear and apparel collaborations: simple color schemes, bold branding and premium materials. It’s served them well through collaborative efforts like Air Force 1s and Air Max 1s, and now it’s continuing on Nike Sportswear‘s ever-popular Dunk Low — which just surfaced in a new all-black colorway after a white pair was revealed in May.
There’s beauty in this all-black Dunk Low’s simplicity, as its unique material build is given room to shine by its straightforward color scheme. The entire upper is composed of a fuzzy velour-like material, which adds an air of luxury to the Dunk‘s inherently sporty style, and a black nubuck midfoot Swoosh supplies some tonal contrast. A mini Swoosh is present on the lateral forefoot, in line with the above-mentioned white pair. The shoe’s only deviation from its color scheme arrives on the satin collar lining via what appears to be a white stamped Nike hit. Black tongues, midsoles and outsoles round off the look.
At the time of writing, an official release date for the Dover Street Market x Nike Dunk Low in black has yet to be announced. However, DSM stores worldwide will likely launch it in the coming months.
If you’re on the hunt for more Swoosh news, be sure to take a look at the Air Force 1 Low GORE-TEX in a familiar “Escape” color scheme.
