C.P. Company Continues Cinquanta Celebrations With Sebago Collaboration
Celebrating the two brands’ adoption by Italian subcultures in the 1980s.

After linking up with Patta and releasing an anniversary book, Italian label C.P. Company has continued its 50th birthday celebrations with a new collaboration. Chapter five of the brand’s Cinquanta is a joint collection with Sebago, inspired by the way both labels were adopted by Italian subcultures in the 1980s.
Honoring this period, the collection incorporates the M.t.T.N. windbreaker, an important item from C.P. Company’s archive. The jacket first arrived in the mid-’80s, and was one of the Italian label’s first experiments with dyeing a garment in cotton and nylon. The resulting process leaves the nylon exterior completely dyed, while the cotton on the inside is “soiled” by the dye and adopts a lighter color. For the Sebago collaboration, the co-branded jacket arrives in red, blue or yellow.
As well as C.P. Company’s outerwear and textile heritage, the collaboration taps in to Sebago’s signature Dockside silhouette. The shoe has been overdyed in a similar process to the windbreaker, and arrives in the same three colorways.
