ASICS Utilises Leftover Materials to Craft Upcoming “Patchwork Pack”
Mirroring the look of traditional Japanese techniques.
ASICS has followed up the launch of its recent “Paisley” GEL-LYTE III OG by unveiling a striking forthcoming iteration of the silhouette dubbed the “Patchwork Pack”.
The Japanese sports label — who also recently dropped a sustainably-constructed GEL-LYTE III alongside Barcelona-based retailer Sivasdescalzo — has taken a eco-friendly approach to the sneaker by utilising leftover materials to craft the inside lining.
The upper boasts plush suede panelling and exaggerated stitch patterns on the sides, while an all-over quilted look has been designed to mirror the look of traditional Japanese patchwork techniques. Sat atop the brand’s GEL technology, each sneaker houses excellent underfoot cushioning and ultimate shock absorption.
ASICS’ “Patchwork Pack” is set to drop on July 9 and will be available from the brand’s online webstore.
