A$AP Rocky and Metro Boomin Are Cooking in the Studio
Flacko’s suit and pearls hint that the photos were taken as recent as June 2021.
A$AP Rocky and Metro Boomin are cooking up something good.
The producer shared several photos of them working in the studio, with Metro Boomin looking casual and Flacko all dressed up in a suit. Rocky’s suit and the pearls are very similar to the ones he wore at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival — where he premiered his documentary Stockholm Syndrome — meaning that the photos could have been taken as recently as June of this year.
For his June/July 2021 GQ cover, Rocky confirmed that his new album, tentatively titled All Smiles, is 90 percent done. He called the record a “ghetto love tale” and revealed that it is “way more mature” than his previous releases. “It’s all about the evolution,” he said of his approach. “If I’m still doing the same shit with the same sounds and the same bars and the same visuals from years ago, what’s the point? You got that catalog. You can go revisit that.” He also confirmed that his girlfriend Rihanna “influenced” his new material, and that fans can expect a surprising collaboration with Morrissey.
