YEEZY Gap Announces First Release, Round Jacket Worn by Kanye West
Accompanied by “Floating Projections” in select cities.
After heavy anticipation, YEEZY and Gap have now announced the inaugural release for the 10-year YEEZY Gap partnership.
Spotted on Kanye West late last week, the YEEZY Gap Round Jacket is constructed of recycled nylon and expresses a bright and bold blue tone. The striking color choice falls in line with Kanye’s recent obsession with color study and serves as the shade that has dominated his recent fashion choices. The jacket features a unique connected collar-lapel design that accents the billowy, front-cropped shape of the outerwear piece. It is interesting to note that the jacket does not feature a closure and comes simply marked with YEEZY Gap logo tag on the interior.
Priced at $200, the YEEZY Gap Round Jacket will be available for pre-order on Gap’s website starting June 7 in the United States only with shipping set for sometime this fall. YEEZY Gap will also be hosting “Floating Projections” of the YEEZY Gap Round Jacket to accompany the release starting with New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago, catch a full list of locations below.
