Team USA Athletes Will Wear Kim Kardashian’s Skims at the Tokyo Olympics
The brand is Team USA’s official provider of undergarments and loungewear.

Team USA will be sporting Kim Kardashian’s brand Skims at the Tokyo Olympics next month.
Kardashian took to Twitter earlier today, June 28, to share the news that Skims had been tapped to design the official Team USA undergarments, pajamas, and loungewear for athletes to wear at the Games, as well as the Paralympics. The same pieces will be available in a capsule collection on the Skims website.
“Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad,” Kardashian tweeted. “As I would watch the athletes compete, I would grow to understand the dedication and honor being a part of the Olympics embodied.”

Caitlyn Jenner, Kardashian’s stepfather, won a gold medal in the decathlon (a series of ten track and field events) in the 1976 Olympics in Montreal. Kardashian described traveling to different cities with her family for the Olympic trials and picking up souvenir t-shirts at each stop.
From the looks of the photos that accompanied her Tweet, the collection will include sports bras, shorts, briefs, tank tops and t-shirts emblazoned with Team USA and the Olympic rings. Five Team USA athletes modeled Skims in the announcement: WNBA player A’ja Wilson, soccer player Alex Morgan, Paralympian sprinter and jumper Scout Bassett, swimmer Haley Anderson and hurdler Dalilah Muhammad.
Kardashian wrote that when she received the call about the opportunity, “every moment I’ve spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympians from the sidelines came full circle.”
This is the first time that Team USA will have an official outfitter for undergarments. Ralph Lauren, Levi, Nike, Adidas and Champion are also among brands providing apparel for Team USA.
