Teddy Santis Gives a First Look at the New Balance 990v6
Unveiled in the brand’s classic grey colorway.
Over two years since New Balance introduced its 990v5 silhouette, the brand has revealed the sixth iteration of the sneaker. Unsurprisingly titled the 990v6, a first look at the updated silhouette was teased by Teddy Santis, founder of Aimé Leon Dore and recently-appointed Creative Director of New Balance’s MADE in USA line.
The sneaker has been revealed in New Balance’s signature grey colorway, showcasing the subte updates to one its most popular lines. The 990v6 is constructed from a mesh upper with hits of suede across the upper, including around the lacing system and sole unit. New Balance’s “N” logo also features — extending fully from the bottom to the top of the upper, as seen on recent silhouettes such as the 57/40– while the rear of the foot features a 990 logo.
Get a first look at the 990v6 in the gallery above, and expect more news about the sneaker to arrive from New Balance in the near future.
