'Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot' Unveils 4 New Sagas For New Nintendo Switch Gameplay
New “Power Awakens” episodes will also arrive on the Switch port.
Nintendo announced that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will officially land on Nintendo Switch during its E3 Direct presentation on Tuesday.
The game has already existed on various consoles for quite some time, but the new Switch open-world action RPG, developed by CyberConnect2, will arrive with a number of additional sagas throughout the series.
In a brief new trailer shared during the showcase, Nintendo unveiled four new Dragon Ball Z chapters: Saiyan, where players must protect the Earth from an invasion, Frieza, which includes a battle against the evil emperor, Cell, where players will face off against androids in a fight to the death, and Majin Buu, which features an epic showdown against the most advanced opponent. Additionally, the gaming company announced that new “Power Awakens” episodes will be included in the Switch port.
Along with the the main story, players can train to acquire new skills and collect ingredients to cook meals for the locals across the vast Dragon Ball Z realm. At this time, it is unknown whether the game’s previous DLC episodes will be included in the Switch game.
The Nintendo Switch edition of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is slated to release on September 24. The game is currently available to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
