Nintendo Drops New Trailer for Highly-Anticipated 'Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2'
Coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022.
Nintendo released a teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at its E3 showcase on Tuesday.
The new trailer gives players a first look at gameplay for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, planned for release for Nintendo Switch sometime in 2022.
Not much has been revealed about the game yet, though it appears from the trailer that it will include an expanded world that includes the skies above Hyrule. The original open-world Breath of the Wild has received critical acclaim since its initial release in 2017 and has been widely hailed as a boundary-breaking achievement. Nintendo first teased the sequel to the much-loved game at E3 in 2019.
The company also teased other upcoming Legend of Zelda titles, including The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, which explores the origins of the Legend of Zelda and features master realistic swordplay. It is available for pre-order now and releasing July 16.
