Potentially functioning as an extension of his fall 2021 collection, Samuel Ross‘ A-Cold-Wall* Resort 2022 offering continues the spirit of his minimalist cadence. With East London’s financial district serving as the collection backdrop, the brand is becoming ever more cosmopolitan while still remaining close to its roots.
Showcasing refined silhouettes, the collection proves that technical wear can still be functional and full of life. Injections of color and asymmetry are incorporated throughout every look, while neutral colors like shades of grey and black serve as the basis for the majority of the looks.
What catches the eye is how electric yellows, warm rust-like hues and cool blues uplift the collection’s feeling. One standout look is a grey and yellow tracksuit paired with a yellow Merino wool quarter zip polo. Another is a dark marbled blue denim set paired with a cobalt blue button down, dark grey sunglasses and black technical boots.
Consisting of nylon outerwear, with touches of cotton and denim offerings, the overtly technical collection delivers chic and comfortable offerings that still turn heads. Expect the collection to roll out in stores and on A-Cold-Wall*’s website in the coming months.
