After unveiling its Fall/Winter 2021 offering at Copenhagen’s Virtual Fashion Week earlier this year, Danish menswear label Wood Wood now shares its Pre-Fall 2021 collection of summer-ready essentials.

In a bid to celebrate brighter times, the brand headed to the Danish capital’s Osteria Pesce — a location known for its array of food and drink, as well as wall-hung football jerseys — with renowned Copenhagen-based rapper Nicholas Westwood Kidd to showcase the collection.

The garments themselves are a breath of fresh air. Block-stripes are employed on shirting as a nod to the umbrellas of Napoli’s rocky beaches, while activewear arrives crafted with an innovative technical polyamide fabric.

Wood Wood has also enlisted photographer Brett Lloyd and artist Jon Pilkington to cast select works onto T-Shirts, two-piece sets and accessories, all of which have been designed to encapsulate a youthful and lively expression.

The full Wood Wood Pre-Fall 2021 collection is available to buy now from the brand’s online webstore.

In other news, British designer Martine Rose has returned this season with a unique “Beermat” collection for SS21.
