New 'Rick and Morty' Season 5 Trailer Sees the Smith Family in Action
Teasing some action-packed family fun that’s soundtracked to Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage.”
Adult Swim has shared a brand new trailer for the upcoming season of Rick and Morty.
Aptly soundtracked to Beastie Boys‘ “Sabotage,” the high-adrenaline trailer highlights the action-packed family fun fans can expect from Rick, Morty, Jerry, Beth and Summer in season five. The Smith family can be seen teaming up on many occasions to defeat whatever intergalactic monster comes their way, even going as far as banding together in a Power Rangers-type manner.
Adult Swim recently revealed that it is working on a spinoff inspired by Rick and Morty, Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell, Robot Chicken, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. “We see it as our mission to put something hilarious within a fingers’ swipe of anyone on the planet,” said Michael Ouweleen, president of Adult Swim, in a statement. “These shorts are a way to meet the next generation of Adult Swim fans where they are, while giving our creators another format to play in and innovate around.”

Elsewhere in entertainment, all four Indiana Jones films will receive a 4K Ultra HD remaster.
