Netflix Teases First Look at 'Masters of the Universe: Revelation'
With Mark Hamill as He-Man’s nemesis, Skeletor.









Netflix offered a first glimpse at its He-Man reboot titled Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which is set to premiere on the streaming service on July 23.
The new animated series, directed by Kevin Smith, stars Mark Hamill as He-Man’s nemesis, Skeletor, while the titular character will be voiced by Chris Wood. The Royal Guard Teela will be portrayed by Sarah Michelle Gellar, while Lena Headey, Alicia Silverstone, Henry Rollins, Liam Cunningham, Justin Long and others also lend their voices to the reboot of the 1983 series from Mattel Television.

Several action figures from the new Masterverse collection were also unveiled on Thursday.

According to the film’s synopsis, the new animated series picks up where the iconic characters left off decades ago.
“After a cataclysmic battle between He-Man and Skeletor, Eternia is fractured and the Guardians of Grayskull are scattered. And after decades of secrets tore them apart, it’s up to Teela to reunite the broken band of heroes, and solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to restore Eternia and prevent the end of the universe.”
