Fans Have Mixed Feelings About Nas Calling Himself "Cryptocurrency's Scarface" in "Sorry Not Sorry"
Maybe “Ether” was actually short for “Ethereum?”
Nas is letting the world know of his recent come-up from Coinbase’s listing. In his recent DJ Khaled track with JAY-Z “Sorry Not Sorry,” Nas spits, “Winner in life, f*ck a coin toss / I’m Coinbased, basically cryptocurrency’s Scarface.”
Not only is a track with JAY-Z surprising for Nas fans, but the line itself caught fans off guard as it was a direct shoutout to Coinbase. The track goes on to mention things like Silicon Valley and intermittent fasting — a big shift in the lyrical content that the two are known for.
