Czarface and MF DOOM Deliver New Album 'Super What?'
The 10-track project was “finalized, mixed & mastered in the summer of 2020.”

Czarface — comprised of 7L, Esoteric and Wu-Tang Clan staple Inspectah Deck — has unveiled a brand new album alongside the late MF DOOM entitled Super What?.
Clocking in at just under half an hour, the 10-track project features guest appearances from Darryl “DMC” McDaniels on the opener “The King and Eye,” Kendra Morris on “Czarwyn’s Theory of Getting People Loose,” Del The Funky Homosapien on “Jason & The Czargonauts” and Godforbid on “So Strange.” Super What? marks the first posthumous release from MF DOOM since the announcement of his death in December 2020, with Esoteric revealing that the album was recorded and originally scheduled to release in April 2020 — six months before the villain “transitioned.”
“Czarface & MF DOOM: “Super What?” was recorded and slated to drop in April of 2020. When COVID-19 struck and the world stopped, we chose to pull it, focus on family, and fine tune a few elements on it. What you’ll be hearing was finalized, mixed & mastered in the summer of 2020, and it’s our honor and privilege to share it with you Friday,” Esoteric wrote on Instagram. “I speak for everyone involved when I say we were incredibly fortunate to have collaborated with DOOM…he was a one-of-a-kind, never-to-be-duplicated emcee, producer, and visionary. We wish peace and healing to his family, friends and everyone touched by the gifts he shared with the planet. MF DOOM FOREVER.”
