GAME UK Reveals Global Superhero Franchise Rankings

Who knew South Korea loved DC Comics so much.

GAME UK has just released the finding for its superhero study on how each universe ranks around the globe. Using Google search volumes, the team compiled a map of the various franchises and how they stack against each other.

While it was not surprising that Marvel was the most searched overall, ranked the highest in 51 countries versus DC Comic‘s nine countries, breakdown per state showed some interesting findings — as 28 states preferred Marvel wheres as DC closely followed with 22 states.

More surprisingly, it is Canada that actually favors Captain America, not the USA. America’s number one superhero position is reserved for Spiderman. For those curious, some other key statistics can be found below. Head over to GAME for the full study.
