Netflix Releases Official Trailer for 'Lupin' Part Two
Returning to the streamer on June 11.
The long-awaited official trailer for part two of Netflix‘s hit French crime thriller series Lupin has officially been released. The initial teaser trailer dropped earlier this year, giving fans a taste of what to expect.
The beloved French detective series is slated to return to the streaming giant next month with five brand new episodes dropping at a time. The official synopsis of the second part of season two reads, “Assane’s quest for revenge against Hubert Pelligrini has torn his family to pieces. With his back to the wall, he now has to think of a new plan, even if it means putting himself in danger.”
Similar to the first season, the second is set to focus on Assane Diop, played by Omar Sy, who is a professional thief of Senegalese descent. Diop came to France for a better life for his child but ends up dealing with a crime his father was framed for by his employer. His father takes his own life, leaving Diop vowing to take revenge on the family who killed his father.
Part two of Lupin sees actors Omar Sy, Hervé Pierre, Nicole Garcia, Clotilde Hesme, Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Shirine Boutella and Soufiane Guerra hit the screns. Ludovic Bernard will direct episodes six and seven, while Hugo Gélin will direct the final three.
Lupin season two, part two hits Netflix on June 11.
